Question by : How can I suggest apps that the android market and the third party developers should sell?
I’ve been looking around the market and some other places for mobile games, but I’m disappointed to find a lack of any serious games compatible with my phone and for free, and maybe even any serious games altogether for any android device for free. I want to be able to feedback this issue to them.

In paid applications, developers must use an authorized payment processor as a payment option. When publishing a paid application, developers should sell only the application service and with no hidden charges or hidden services like selling mp3 players with songs that are paid as well.
The Android app market without these policies would probably be chaos. Before installing an application, users should check twice how reliable the source is, though there are certain policies, it would be impossible for Google to thoroughly examine each application. Checking doesn’t only save you from the trouble of downloading misleading applications but save you from downloading viruses or malwares installed with it as well.

Question by Siena: How do I buy apps on Android market from my phone?
I’ve gone onto Android marketplace and it gives me the option to put my card details in. Somewhere else I read about Google Checkout – which I think is like PayPal? What’s the best way of buying apps through the Android marketplace?
I’m used to Apple and iTunes etc and am new to the world of Android! (But loving my Galaxy S2!)
Thanks for your help in advance!

Set up your Google Checkout account by visiting checkout.google.com and clicking “Sign up now.” Enter your personal information. If you already have a Google account, you can sign in using your Google account username and password and simply add your billing information. You must have a credit card number on file to download paid apps and you must have a Google account to download even free apps.
2
Access Android Market by pressing the home button, then “Market” on your Android-powered device. If it’s your first time using Android Market, you’ll need to confirm that you agree to the terms and conditions, which will appear before you can begin browsing. Browse through the various applications available. You can browse categories, such as games, entertainment or health and fitness, or use the tabs at the top of the screen to filter results depending on popularity or price.
3
Tap an application icon to learn more about it. You can read the application description, see screen shots and read reviews before you decide to purchase.
4
Touch the “Buy” or “Install” button to verify your information and download the app directly to your Android-powered device. You may need to enter your password before the download begins, depending on the last time you accessed your Google Checkout account.

Question by Hybrid: How do i set up Linux as a second operating system?
Hi I am so accustomed to using Microsoft’s operating systems but i would like to get used to using Linux. I know that you can have to operating systems on a PC.
Do I need extra memory to run Linux along side windows or do I need to add more memory. And How do I install Linux and boot it on start up of my P|C?

Answer by jplatt39
I do not recommend starting out by repartitioning your hard drive. That is how you generally install it as a dual boot. If you do not follow instructions exactly (know what you are doing) you can, as the saying goes brick the drive — that is make it TOTALLY UNSALVAGEABLE.
To start out, I would go to http://www.wubi-installer.org and follow their instructions for installing it WITHIN Windows. Or else I would just go get a live CD of Fedora or something and run it off that. Linux is a kernel which runs an Operating system intended to be Unix-like and which includes programs which run on many current versions of Unix — the GNU Tools, as they are called. You do not have to install it to learn how to use it any more, and I certainly do recommend people learn how to use it — since they are using it already whenthey surf the web or run a search. But I would wait on repartitioning the hard drive.
